M-Audio announces that Pro Tools M-Powered is now compatible with Mac OS X Leopard (17/7/2008)

Latest update offers support for OS X 10.5.3

M-Audio is pleased to announce the immediate release of Pro Tools(r) 7.4.2 software, which offers Leopard compatibility to users of Pro Tools M-Powered(tm), Pro Tools LE(r) and Pro Tools|HD(r) software. This fully qualified update allows Mac users to transition to the latest version of Mac OS X.

Pro Tools 7.4.2 software is available as a download only, and requires Mac OS X 10.5.3. Pro Tools 7.4.2 is not compatible with earlier versions of Leopard. Please visit the M-Audio driver support page (www.maudio.co.uk/support) to download the latest Leopard-compatible driver updates.

Pro Tools 7.4.2 software is available to registered users of Pro Tools M-Powered 7.4, Pro Tools LE 7.4 and Pro Tools|HD 7.4 software (Pro Tools|HD 7.4.2 includes new support for Avid Mojo(r) and older Apple Mac Pro computers). Please note that you will need your iLok authorization (Pro Tools M-Powered or Pro Tools|HD) or Pro Tools 7.4 authorization code (Pro Tools LE) to authorize the software.

Please note: The ProFire(tm) Lightbridge and ProjectMix I/O interfaces are currently not supported under Pro Tools M-Powered 7.4.2. Please check back soon for further driver updates.
